Seosprint Update: Changes to Features, Rules, and Pricing

Dear users,
The Seosprint platform has been updated. As previously announced, part of the redundant functionality has been removed, and several sections have been revised. Below is a summary of the key changes.

Removal of the blog feed

Initially, we planned to completely discontinue the blog feature. However, analysis showed that some blogs contain genuinely useful and meaningful content. Therefore, the blogs themselves have been retained, while the blog feed has been removed, as it had effectively turned into a stream of low-quality advertising posts.

In the near future, we will reassess the role of blogs within the project and make further changes if necessary.

Changes to private messaging

Private messages are now intended exclusively for communication between task authors and performers.

This channel may be used to:

  • clarify details of tasks already taken into work;
  • discuss disputes, including appeals against rejections;
  • conduct other task-related communication.

The ability to freely message any project user has been disabled, which will significantly reduce spam.
The option to insert images in messages has been retained. Private messages older than 3 months will be deleted automatically.

Referral system anonymization

The referral system has been switched to an anonymous mode.

  • Referrals no longer see who their referrer is.
  • Referrers can view their referrals, including IDs and work statistics.
  • Communication between referrers and referrals via project private messages has been disabled.
  • Joining a referrer via a wall button is no longer possible. As a result, all tasks related to joining referrers have been stopped and the corresponding category has been removed.

We strongly recommend that referrers support this non-interaction model. In the long term, this will reduce conflicts and save time and effort for all parties.
Seosprint will independently expand its knowledge base and train new users to work on the platform.

A distributed mechanism for “buying out” users not linked to a referrer will be introduced later.

Removal of Premium subscriptions

Following the changes, most Premium benefits have become irrelevant. Therefore, Premium subscriptions have been fully discontinued.

The option to choose a custom wall and blog cover is now available to all users free of charge.

Forum removal

We value the idea of a social component within the project, and the decision to remove the forum was not easy. However, in practice, the level of negativity and conflict significantly exceeded constructive communication and mutual assistance.

As a result, the forum has been removed.

Surfing and contextual advertising

Rates have been increased for:

  • surfing (for both advertisers and performers);
  • contextual advertising.

Despite the increase, prices remain extremely low by current market standards.

Changes to task pricing

The additional fee for requiring screenshots has been removed.

A minimum performer reward of $0.015 has been established.

The reward must now increase proportionally depending on the task completion time:

  • up to 1 hour — not less than $0.015
  • up to 2 hours — not less than $0.02
  • up to 3 hours — not less than $0.03
  • up to 6 hours — not less than $0.06
  • up to 12 hours — not less than $0.12
  • up to 24 hours — not less than $0.24
  • over 24 hours — not less than $0.50

Due to the scale of the changes, minor technical issues may occur. Please report any problems to Support.

We wish you productive work in the new year.

Sincerely,
The Seosprint Team
